Firstly I’d like to apologies for the lack of blogging these past 2 nights. Unfortunately due to a lack of WIFI in the hotel last night I was unable to blog 😦 But don’t worry I’m back now 🙂 LOL
It’s been a very achy day today in Udaipur. Today Akeel and I got the opportunity to go horse riding in the hills and mountains of Udaipur. It was probably a once in a lifetime opportunity. Riding in such awesome scenery is not something you do every day.
Being in a country with diverse languages is truly a blessing. According to Census of India of 2001, 30 languages are spoken by more than a million native speakers, 122 by more than 10,000. I think I have now added another to the list making it 123…Lol… Throughout India the only common language is Hindi therefore its safe to say that It appears that broken Hindi unites people across India…..
Before I start writing about my experiences today, I would like to extend my condolences to Fehmida Virjee, Shahida Molu and Hussein Fazal. On Sunday I heard the sad news of the passing of Zehra bai Darweshali Rashid. She was the mother of Shahida Masi, Fehmida Masi and Hussein Mama. She was also the sister of my dear Nanabapa (Grandfather), Noorali Bhamani and the fui (aunt) of my mum. I ask all my readers to keep the family in your thoughts during this difficult time.
Its been our first day of travelling today and I feel as if I’m starting to see the real India. In Bhavnagar I feel I was a bit reserved, but now as I am travelling I have started to see new cultures, I have met some amazing people and I’ve eaten some amazing food. Lol
